The 15th International Alanya Christmas Market, organized by Alanya Municipality, was held on December 13–14 behind the Old Municipality Building. Open between 10:00 a.m. and midnight, the event attracted great interest with its colorful activities, concerts, and various stalls. Featuring culture and arts, food and beverage areas, and children’s play zones, the market brought together both local residents and tourists.
Throughout the two-day event, numerous dance and music groups performed on stage. The opening ceremony was attended by CHP Antalya MP Aykut Kaya, municipal officials, and many citizens. In his opening speech, Municipal Advisor Abdurrahman Açıkalın emphasized Alanya’s multicultural identity and highlighted messages of peace, harmony, and solidarity. After the ceremony, the Christmas tree lights were turned on, and the first day concluded with a concert by Sattas.
On the second day, Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik toured the stalls and chatted with visitors. Many local and international groups performed on Sunday as well. It was announced that the proceeds from the children’s play areas would be donated for the treatment of Taha Miraç, who suffers from DMD muscular disease. The Christmas Market ended on a high note with a lively concert by Işıl Ayman on the final day.
