Organized in cooperation with Alanya Municipality, the District Directorate of National Education, and the Public Education Center, the Handicrafts Producers’ Market has opened its doors at the courtyard area in front of Hacı Memişler Mosque in Alanya. The market will remain open until July 6 and features handmade products such as jewelry, knitting, embroidery, clothing, and decorative items.
Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak and Public Education Center Director İbrahim Yıldırım visited the stalls at the opening and showed their support for the trainees. Yıldırım invited all citizens to visit the market, while Koçak emphasized the importance of such events in empowering women economically and preserving traditional crafts. He added that the municipality aims to expand the event in future years.
